Small computer, slower mornings.
A note on the Mac mini, quiet desks, and why less can feel like more.

A desktop computer has a different relationship with a room than a laptop. It stays put. You come to it with a little more intention, and leave it behind when the work is done. That boundary is a small thing, but small things often shape the day.
Room to think
The Mac mini interests me for the space it doesn’t occupy. A modest silver box can leave the desk to a notebook, a cup of coffee, and whatever you’re trying to make. Not every useful object needs to be the centre of attention.
This isn’t a benchmark or a buying guide. It’s a reminder that a setup can be judged by how it feels to sit down at it. Before the next upgrade, perhaps the better question is what would make this corner of your day calmer.
